Jessica Domanski – 2011 Benefit Recipient

Jessica DomanskiWe are happy to announce that the recipient for the 2011 Sgt. D’s Golden Boot Classic is Jessica Domanski. Jessica and her family will be receiving help from money raised at our 6th Annual golf scramble on Sat., Aug. 20th! Jessica suffers from CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome).

After the excitement of stealing and sliding into home base at a softball game (by the way, she was safe & tied up the game), Jessica was overcome with pain and couldn’t walk on her left leg. After frequent medical visits at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Jessica has now regained the use of her leg. There is no cure for CRPS, but with the assistance of an implanted Neurological Stimulator and trips to the Pain Clinic, Jessica can now walk without the assistance of a wheelchair or crutches.

Jessica is very grateful for the support of her family and friends, but it’s time for Sgt. D’s to jump in and help this family get back on their feet. The trips to UofM, the medical bills, the gas money, all of it – has paid a toll on Jessica and her family. Please spread the word and come out to help Jessica’s family while having a blast in our annual outing, dinner and first ever karaoke party!
